Wrong Firmware - anyone help????????

I have somehow uploaded the Passion HD firmware onto my Passion+ HD. Whilst the box is still functioning, it has disabled the USB ports and all hard disk recording functions etc

I need to update it but as the USB ports are disabled, I can only do this via RS232 port and a link to computer OR connecting it to another Passion+ HD box.

Does anyone hear have the appropriate computer app to update firmware via RS232. Or does anyone live in haywards heath / crawley area of sussex who would be happy to help with a box to box update!?

is ur box got front and rear usb ports? try plug in other port. if same as mine if still same menus can change ports in menus.

if u loaded the wrong firmware is 99.99% the box as got to be returned. if it died they dont cover the box. best to ring them if can get work.

mods on here have Stated over wrong firmware loading .
