    Default How to add CCcam on to an OpenATV Image

    OpenATV have now announced that they have stopped all support for softcam and emu's on all their OpenATV Images.
    Which means if you wish to keep using OpenATV Images with the latest updates,
    then you will have to add your own Emu's and Softcam keys.

    First you will need to download and install the attached TSPanel at the bottom of this post,
    to install the tspanel.ipk file just run
    VUCC and once connected click IPK Installer select the tspanel.ipk file and click on the
    Upload and Install IPK File button,once it has been installed, open TSPanel and click Update, and then reboot the receiver.

    Now you have the latest version of TSPanel installed, just follow the instructions below.

    Click
    Menu -> TSPanel

    Click
    Softcams

    Click the
    Blue button to download/install the emu you wish to use, here we selected CCcam 2.3.0.

    Now run DCC & transfer your cccam.cfg file over to etc then right click on the cccam.cfg file and set the Attributes to 644.

    Now you can start CCcam by clicking the Green button.

    Now check all is okay by selecting an encrypted channel, here we selected
    13 Street on Hotbird

    And as you can see it's running perfectly.

    ================================================== ===============================

    Option 2: using another panel in place of TSPanel.

    If you wish to use another Panel in place of TSPanel, then you have a total of 4 to choose from.

    Click
    Menu -> TSPanel

    Click ->
    Addons

    Click ->
    Imajteam addons server

    now scroll down the list and click on
    Panels

    Now you have 4 choices, here we selected the first option so select
    Enigmanewmenu-OE-2v0.all & click the Green button to install,
    I should imagine the setup procedure will be the same for which ever one you decide to use.

    once installed click
    Menu -> New Menu

    Click ->
    Emu Manager

    Now click the
    Blue button to download/install the emu's you require, here we selected CCcam 2.3.0

    Now run DCC & transfer your cccam.cfg file over to etc then right click on the cccam.cfg file and set the
    Attributes to 644.

    Now start CCcam 2.3.0 by clicking the Green button.

    Now check all is okay by selecting an encrypted channel, here we selected 13 Street on Hotbird

    And as you can see it's running perfectly.

    All the best
    Laurals

    All goes well until i get to this "Now run DCC & transfer your cccam.cfg file over to etc then right click on the cccam.cfg file and set the Attributes to 644." line. I do not know how to make my own cccam.cfg file. Can i get some help?

    All you have to do is download and unzip the attached CCcam.cfg file, then overwrite the test cline included with an active one.

    I have an Xpeed Lx2 and following your instructions I could not get through.
    I presume that's why I have no idea how to write the ccam test-cline and due to
    Insufficient Privileges I cannot download the Ccam cfg.zip.
    Any suggestion?
