Works for me on alien 8900. Thanks.
Here we shall install the Emu's including CCcam to Spark.
First thing to do is delete all your installed Emu plugins.
Click Menu -> Plugin and click the Green button to delete each one.
On new firmware you will also need to enter the Password: 0 0 0 0
Now you will need to download the emu_plugin file [Click Here]
Once you have downloaded and unzipped the emu_plugin.zip
Place the folder 'plugin' onto a USB stick [Formatted in FAT32] and insert the USB stick into the USB port on the rear of the receiver.
You will then see the following popup window, click Yes to install
Now open DCC, I still use version 2.80, [Cick Here]
When setting up the Configuration use the following logon data:
Once a connection has been established, click FTP
Now click var -> /root/plugin/var
Now click on Keys
Now select on your CCcam.cfg file and click on the transfer button, boxed in Red below.
When asked to overwrite click Yes
You can check the CCcam.cfg file is correct, by clicking on it and then click View
If you need to edit the file you can do so by clicking the Edit option.
Once your happy the CCcam.cfg file is okay, you can close DCC.
Now click Menu -> Plugin
Select CCcam214 and click the Enter button, this will start the emu.
You will see it has been started as the Red Off icon will change to Green.
Now you have started the CCcam Emu, you can exit.
Now let us check all is working correctly,
Select an encrypted channel you know your cline will open,
for this example we shall select Calle 13
Once selected click Enter to view the channel.
If you followed the above correctly, you should now get access to the channel.
And that's it.
All the best
Works for me on alien 8900. Thanks.
Brilliant post, good instructions and easy to follow, however it doesn't seem to be working for me,
I have recently purchased a 8900HD, I am used to the Openbox/Skybox's which are definitely easier to set-up etc especially the favourites!
I have set-up the 8900 with dual boot spark and E2, however I do not like the channel list/favourites on E2 and also I have found that the remote control is less responsive on E2, whereas on Spark it works perfectly.
Also I can't find any wifi dongle set-up/support on E2?
My problem is I can get my N line to work with E2 but I am unable to get it to work with Spark.
I've even tried using oscam.
I have followed instructions on this site but can not get it to work.
I have also tried to get the channel list editor "dreamseteditor" to work with E2 but no luck, can not get a connection even when I use a crossover cable. However DCC works fine with the box on E2.
The E2 image i'm using is pkteam?
I am not concerned with epg or any apps such as youtube etc as I have a smart TV that does that.
I just want my n-line to work with Spark, would someone please advise with step by step instructions from scratch on how to get my n-line to work with Spark please?
My n-line looks something like this:
N: 2013.dummy.org 18227 masif password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
Your help would be much appreciated.

Sorry to say but I have moved on, I no longer use the Alien 8900, as I change to other receivers every couple of months or so.
Also this thread is for Spark and not Enigma2.
masif1 I have answered your PM, if this helps perhaps you can post here what you did and if it works for you as this will help others in the same boat.
I seem to remember that there was a pictorial tutorial on how to enter the CCCAM lines - is it still here, as am having problems getting anything other than the 'scrambled or not running' banner.
am trying to download the DCC but am unable to - can anyone help me with this please?
afraid still having problems in trying to run DCC.
I am getting it connected to the box now which is a start.
On the left hand side is the 'Command' area - is this what is on the box or the USB?
On the right side I can only see my C drive.
Is there a tutorial anywhere that can give me a step by step ? (Bit new to all this stuff).
in the left column you'll see an FTP tab, click on that and then you will have your receiver's contents on the left and your pc's on the right
if you can't get DCC from the link above just google bernyr
thanks for this
thx, great post!
Its a great post but how to we get the file with plugins. On this note ive browsed the forums and can find only E2 image with cccam already installed but the sat list does not have 28.2 ?
google bernyr.de to find and download DCC (Dream Control Center) if you don't already have it
go to http://satellites-xml.eu/ and download yourself a sat.xml file with the sats of your preference
Open DCC, log into your box and transfer your new sat.xml file to your box
@Weirdo Brilliant advice , many thanks.
have indeed already tried that . took the satelllites-xml file from my dm800 and ported , I already have dcc English version , across although think I may have got the location wrong on the E2 Christmas image in the stickies here.
will have another bash tonight and try again . cheers for the detailed response though
ended up installing : Hyperion v4 Image , already had the sat 28.2e , just could not get the christmas version to update the sat list.
used a cccam to oscam util to convert , as still no native support for cccam..
put into keys folder , channels cleared..
the work done took hours , would take about 10 minutes to replicate now.. knowledge is a wonderful thing.
thanks for all the help the supporters and this forum provided.
I have an amiko 8900HD. I have tried to follow the details on the forum, but When I put in my usb into the box nothing comes up. hence I can follow through.
