Ok, here's the problem..

I have a Humax 5400Z satellite receiver with a SCART output. I need to connect this to a TFT monitor equipped with VGA and DCI inputs. I would prefer not to involve a PC as intermediary.

Is there any simple and inexpensive device to achieve this ? I know there are expensive solutions but it would then be cheaper to buy an LCD TV in the first place...

Thanks all..

Also most of the external tv tuner boxes for PC have the usual inputs on them.

Becareful if your using a TFT monitor to ensure that the box runs at the monitors native resolution and refresh rate Typically 800 x 600 or 1024 x 758 @ 60Hz
