I contacted RapidShare to ask why are there differences between RapidShare.com and RapidShare.de
Below is a copy of the reply I received, the info my be of some use to would be premium users. :good:
*** RapidShare.com / RapidShare.de ***
RapidShare.com and RapidShare.de are completely different companies. It is not possible to download files, use folders or collector's accounts from RapidShare.de at RapidShare.com and worthwise.
If you have bought RapidShare.com account, but actually wanted a RapidShare.de account, we can cancel your account and give you a refund. If it's the opposite situation, please write to the support of www.rapidshare.de (http://www.rapidshare.de/). It's not possible to transfer payments or accounts from one company to the other, because each company can only administrate its own accounts.
If you created a RapidShare.com account using our premium promotion, please note: Your RapidShare.com account will not be extended if you extend your account at RapidShare.de. The promotion was a one-time offer, and afterwards the account is not connected to the RapidShare.de account anymore.
*** Didn't get login information? ***
Some mail providers unfortunately tend to mark our login information e-mails as spam (for example hotmail.com). In case you can't find the e-mail with your account data in your inbox, please check your spam / junk mail folder.
If the e-mail isn't there, the problem could also be that your payment hasn't been completed yet. You can check this in your e-mail account. If this still doesn't help, please send us the transaction ID (a code consisting of 17 numbers and letters) you got from PayPal after the payment was made.
*** Account found, password incorrect? ***
If you get that message, please make sure you're not trying to use RapidShare.de account information on RapidShare.com (or the other way around).
You can also have your login number and password sent to you by e-mail on this page: http://rapidshare.com/en/forgotpw.html (http://rapidshare.com/en/forgotpw.html)
*** Account not found? ***
This message could also appear if you're trying to log in on a website on which your account isn't valid, or if on the "forgot password" page you enter an e-mail address different from the one you used for the account.
*** RapidGet ***
RapidGet doesn't work on RapidShare.com. In the future a download program for RapidShare.com will be available within the next weeks.
