A while ago i followed an interesting discussion on a US forum. They talked about cracking software ... and what was best ... using serials or crack. One said that it was best using crack because using serials perhaps would course that the owner of the serial got closed down from the software distributor :D ... well his thinking was good ! But is that a fact ? ... thread didn`t give any answer on this question, but .... i got particulary interested in the last post ... it said ;
"A Crack is done by disassembling the executable file of a program, and usually just replacing one opcode (JNZ to JZ, or vice versa, or BE to BNE or vice versa) Once that is finished, you fix the checksum and recompile. This will bypass the authorization and give unconditional access."
Ok, if it is so simple ... i thought ... i`ll gonna learn this art :whistler: .... but after some study it wasn`t only so simple. BUT ... the last post in that thread was certainly on the right way !
You need some tools and the executable you want to crack ... and a lot of time and interest to do this. It`s really more easy to get the serial or crack from internet (with a great poosibilty to get some trojans and virus too though). But if you get satisfied doing a crack by yourself you should look into this potential new hobby.
