Won't go West

Hi, just thought i would ask for help.
I have had the system up for a few weeks now. So far things are working out fine, but i do have one problem.

I have picked up satellites from 0.0 degrees and 42.0E or roughly that far, but if i try to scan west the dish motor still turns east. using the manual buttons on the motor the dish will move west fine no problem. i have just tried another Innovation receiver and it does the same. has anybody else had this problem before?

Hi. Yes had a simular experience a couple of years ago, Cured by doing a system reset on the motor (varies how to do it according to manufacturer, read manual). It's caused by the reference point of the motor becomeing miss aligned. Hope this helps.

Hi again,
I have tried the reset according to the manual but it doesn't work. so i am going with plan b and swap the motor. Still under warranty anyway.

I swapped the motor and the new motor resets as per the manual now but, using usals it wont go west. the other disc i cant work out how to use it but i can send the dish all the way west, but how do i get it go to the satellite?

If motor resets ok have you set any E / W limits up which would stop it going where you want it?
