And makes the dish move back to 28.5E when accessing the EPG on another satellite, again!

No such problem associated with the firmware here, I just checked a number of channels [EPG] on various satellites, and everything was okay.

No problem here now, after loading the firmware again! The receiver is still not updating via the menu system, but the sound loss on exiting the EPG has been cured (although sound loss on changing satellite is still there). Good progress, but is there any reason why Astra 2A is still the only one to be shown in the EPG exclusively in All Channel mode?
Can I suggest another improvement to the PVR function which Fortec may be able to implement? At present, recordings are saved to disk with the programme name shown in the info panel above the recording list being taken from whatever was being transmitted at the instant the recording started. As this is usually the last few seconds of the programme before the one the recording was set up for, there is no way of seeing afterwards exactly what each recording is without replaying it to find out (especially after a few days/weeks have gone by and your memory has faded). If the programme name were taken from the timer event list or, say, five minutes into each recording (to allow for schedule slippage) then the recording list would actually show the true subject of each recording, which I think would be quite useful.
Best regards to all.

This is nitpicking now as I'm very pleased with the amount of updates and support provided for these receivers but a function to automatically add say 5 mins onto the end of recordings would be handy too as quite a lot of programmes start a couple of minutes late. At the moment I just adjust the finish time when setting the recording from the epg.

I didn't even dare suggest that one, Paul, in case I incurred the wrath of laurals again ;). I've always found the "auto padding" option at the end of all recordings on the Humax terrestrial PVR I've got is an essential to cope with the vagaries of the broadcasting schedule, and I hope that we can look forward to something similar in the future as the Passion/Innovation firmware develops.

I have noticed something with the recording from epg.
Only just got round to loading this firmware because I found this issue on the last one.
The issue is still there in this version:
If you have selected a channel from one of the favourites list and subsequently use epg or info to record a programme it sets it all fine.
When you check the timer list afterwards, all appears well on the list. If you then select the programme, a different channel is listed to record the programme from. Basically the one that is on there is the corresponding channel number from all channels. For example when I tested recording boomerang which is channel 8 on my favourite "kids" list, it lists the correct time and boomerang in the timer list but when I open the item up, BBC HD is the channel because that is no8 on my all channels list.
All is well if you ensure you are on all channels before setting a recording through epg/info button.
I also have missed a couple of recordings from standby on the previous firmware version, but I need to do a bit more testing to find out the cause of this or if it happens at all on this version as it appears to be random at the moment (maybe when a dish move is needed).
