Latest beta release p_av117_20080805

This release impliments the following changes:
1) Change Logo "F" color (blue -> black)
2) Active auto rename function (scan mode)
3) Advanced scan


Too all those that installs this beta firmware, can you please post your feedback regarding it's performance.

Just loaded this version and tried a few scans. The receiver rebooted at 90% of the way through a Multisat scan on 36degE (TV + Radio, Free only), but the same scan after rebooting found the Zagros Channel at 91% complete (12625V, SR2668). Just a coincidence, or something linked to finding a new signal perhaps??

For what it's worth, I preferred the old loader screen!

This release also has the audio bug reported by Greboy on the other thread. It's not just Premiere that's affected but every encrypted channel that is decoded using emulation or an original smart card (e.g. Sky FTV).

tested advanced scan on 6 different sats and no re-booting . when returning to any channel on 28.2 east from any other position channel locks on with no audio. I also renamed some channels and did a search on that frequency and the channel returned to the original name. My problem was with this version was that moving from 10*east to 9*east my dish kept going too far west , don,t know if this a software problem or motor but didn,t occur with previous versions. I will revert back to previous firmware and test.

Fossa, are you using an official CAM or a Diablo / T-Rex etc ? I'm using a Diablo and with both versions of FW 1.17 I get no sound on decoded channels. Tested with Sky @ 28.2E, Premiere @ 19.0E, Digitalb @16.0E and Polsat @ 13.0E.

I got correct sound on all freesatfromsky channels (tested Ch4HD, Ch4, E4, More4) and all Setanta channels
