i have just set up my new homecast hd receiver with laurals settings
but i am unable to open bbc hd on 28east any help please i am moveing
the dish with my manhattan plasa 500

No problem here in opening BBC HD.

it just comes up no signal all other channels work ok

Your setting are proberbly incorrect, the most likely problem is the Pilot setting has been set to 'On' so try these:

10.847
V
22.000
DVB S QPSK
Pilot = Off
